Caroline DavisBorn in Singapore, composer, saxophonist, and educator Dr. Caroline Davis now lives in Brooklyn, New York. She brings her unique knowledge of music and physiology to the Cannon Room at Harvard Medical School on January 6, 2017.

Dr. David acquired a PhD in Music Cognition at Northwestern University in 2010. This research field studies the mental processes underlying musical activities such as listening and comprehending, performing, and composing. Researchers in the field include music theorists, experimental psychologists, and neuroscientists, as well as ethnomusicologists, music educators, music therapists, and physicians.
